The testbot is free of charge. It will allow you to test the bot internally for 1 month after its launch

Data Import Info-Bot

We do not require any data for the set up of your Info-Bot. Once the Bot has been set up, you will be able to provide all the information to the Bot via the back end of your personal account in a simple manner.

Data import Research- and  Recommendation-Bot

We support a selected number of data import formats. 

Macr21 data should be delivered in .marc or .mrc format. For testing purposes, we limit the Marc21 records to 100MB. For the bot to be able to provide the users with a link to the catalogue view for recommended entries, the URL for the full catalogue view of each entry needs to be known. Preferably, that URL should be included for every entry in the field 865 “electronic location and access”. Alternatively, please specify how URLs for catalogue view should be constructed by other attributes in the “message” field of the form. 

Workflow summary 

Once the Bot has been set up, you will receive a PW/Login to this page: https://demo.aboutsomethink.org 

Your bot will contain your data and your data alone. It can be shared internally for testing purposes with anyone who needs to test. If usage goes beyond what is necessary for testing we reserve the right to limit the number of conversations with the bot. 

The workflow to set up the bot is as follows: 

– Registration 

– Delivery of Marc21 and file Assessment by ASK (if applicable)

-Testbot delivery
